President Biden changing his mind on student loan forgiveness 'is a tremendous victory,'.

"President Joe Biden recently said that he's considering some level of broad-based student loan forgiveness in the coming weeks, and one Democrat who has repeatedly pushed for cancellation says that's major progress.

""All we know is that the President has expressed an openness to to cancel some debt... that in its in and of itself, is a tremendous victory," Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) told Yahoo Finance in an exclusive interview (video above), later adding: "Any relief that we can provide people in the midst of unprecedented economic hardship as we begin to round the corner and head into a recovery from this pandemic induced recession would make a difference."

"Pressley, alongside Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), and Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) have repeatedly called on Biden to cancel $50,000 in student loan debt immediately via executive order on the premise that there is sufficient legal backing for the administration to do so." President Biden changing his mind on student loan forgiveness 'is a tremendous victory,' Rep. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said comments about her by Tucker Carlson were "libelous."

The Fox News host devoted a section of his show last week to insulting her.

Hillary Clinton said recently that Fox attacks on her were approaching a point where she could sue.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez described personalized attacks on her by Fox News host Tucker Carlson as "targetted, libelous harassment," deepening the feud between the two.

Carlson devoted a segment of his show Friday to mocking and insulting Ocasio-Cortez, a progressive Democrat from New York and a frequent subject of his on-air tirades

He described Ocasio-Cortez, whose ancestry is Puerto Rican, as a "rich, entitled white lady," and remarked that an old Instagram video she posted sounded like "an invitation to a booty call."

Five reasons why Putin might not invade Ukraine.

 Original Article Here.

The optics look dreadful.  But is there any reason for him not to follow through.  At this point in time

I personally do not see any reason why he would not.  But the people in the Biden Whitehouse who should know why, think there are reasons.

Russia has deployed more than two-thirds of its military combat capability to within striking distance of Ukraine's borders.

Its 30,000 troops that were supposed to withdraw from neighboring Belarus at the weekend are still there. So are pontoon bridges and other logistic equipment needed for an invasion.

Violence is flaring in the two Russian-backed breakaway republics in Eastern Ukraine. Russia's demands from Nato remain unmet and diplomacy has so far failed to bring about any significant withdrawal of Russian forces.

Meanwhile western leaders and their intelligence chiefs have been sounding the alarm, asserting that President Putin has already given the order to invade Ukraine.

And yet, there are reasons to believe that a Russian invasion of Ukraine will not happen. Here are some of them.

Let's see what you think.

Could Donald Trump Still have A another Chance At the Presidency?

Portman's endorsement could foreshadow a potential endorsement from former President Trump.

Ohio Sen. Rob Portman's (R) endorsement of Republican Senate candidate Jane Timken could alter the dynamics of the state's crowded GOP primary and give Timken a needed boost.

Portman, who is retiring next year, on Wednesday offered Timken the race's most high-profile endorsement to date. Timken will likely get access to the senator's vast donor network and campaign apparatus in the state, where Portman is popular. Timken's campaign said it raised $250,000 in the 24 hours after Portman endorsed her.

"This is the most significant thing that has happened in the Senate race. Period. End of discussion," said one Republican operative involved in Ohio politics.

Some strategists are also asking if Portman's endorsement could foreshadow a potential endorsement from former President Trump.

"That is the hottest rumor in Ohio right now," state Sen. Michael Rulli (R), who has endorsed Timken, said. "If that happens, in my humble opinion, Jane would lock it up."

While Trump has yet to give any indicator of whom he will endorse in the primary, many of the candidates have heavily vied for the former president's nod in the state he carried in 2016 and 2020.

Ginger Zee is known as an American weather anchor.

She is most famous for her work at ABC's 'Good Morning America.'

Original Article

Background

Ginger Renee Zuidgeest was born on January 13, 1981, in California. Ginger is the daughter of Dutch parents Dawn Zuidgeest-Craft and Robert Zuidgeest. Her father learned English from watching the popular American sitcom "Gilligan's Island." He named his daughter "Ginger" after the character that appeared on the show played by actress Tina Louise. Ginger has a younger brother, Sean, and two half-sisters, Adrianna and Elaina Craft, from her mother's second marriage to Carl John Craft.

Zee's family moved to Michigan when Ginger was less than one year old. Ginger graduated from Rockford High School in Rockford, Michigan. She decided to be a meteorologist when she was a young girl. A waterspout that she saw on Lake Michigan became the inspiration for her dreams. Waterspouts were common in that area, but Zee recalls being "mesmerized" and said, "I thought it was the coolest thing I had ever seen." It was natural for an impressionable young girl to become a "tornado chaser" after witnessing one. The fact that Zee made her dream come true speaks volumes of her grit and determination.

Zee attended Valparaiso "Valpo" University in Indiana, the largest independent Lutheran University in the United States. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in meteorology and was well on her way towards attaining her childhood dreams.

Marriage, Husband and Children

Ginger Zee is married to Benjamin Aaron Colonomos, popularly known as "Ben Aaron," a television personality. Ben works on the popular television show "Crazy Talk." When they first met, Aaron was working with NBC Universal's LXTV. Before their wedding, Aaron made a hilarious video showcasing how he met his future wife and how they surmounted the problematic task of dating despite being from two rival television channels. The video, available on the internet, showed Ben's funny side and was well received by viewers, primarily when Ben uses a male dummy as a sit-in for his future bride to show viewers how he proposed to Ginger.

After a long-term relationship with Aaron, the couple got engaged in 2013. They married on a beach in Petoskey, Michigan, in June 2014, where Ginger spent every summer during her formative years. They held two ceremonies. One was a private event for their vows, and the second was a more public traditional event in front of 55 guests later the same day. Ginger Zee has taken on her husband's name privately, her legal name is Ginger Renee Colonomos, but she also retains her professional name, Ginger Zee, for public appearances.

After her marriage, Zee admitted that she was looking forward to parenthood at some point in the future and that both adopted and biological children could be a part of those plans. The public announcement that she was pregnant was made on June 29, 2015. When asked about her pregnancy on national television, the weather anchor replied, "The forecast for delivery is in December." She also mentioned that viewers of her show seemed to suspect that she was pregnant, even before she announced it to them. Ginger and Ben gave birth to a son named Adrian Benjamin.

Ginger shows her social spirit every Wednesday of the week when she talks to school children about weather and meteorology. She is an adjunct professor at her alma mater, Valparaiso University. In addition, Ginger has shot many episodes for Discovery Channel's popular show "Storm Chasers." By all accounts, she is a role model and not just your average "weather girl.
