Some Requirements:

1. Brush daily
2. Bathe at least every two weeks, more often is better.
3. Take to a groomer at least once a month.
4. House training is more difficult, experts on the breed report these are the most difficult.
5. Intense need for interaction, all day long! Needs to be the center of your world, if you cannot do this you should consider another breed.
6. Needs a well ordered and consistent daily schedule .
7. Generally it is a healthy breed, but they can be prone, to chronic health conditions that can be expensive. Educate yourself on these.
